Finally, some good news in schizophrenia

Schizophrenia has long been one of the tougher diagnoses that I have to tell people. Beyond the stigma associated with the name, there are the actual symptoms which can be terribly burdensome. Last week, an article in the L.A. Times discussed an new genetic discovery that should shift the direction of schizophrenia research and lead to all new treatments and even the possibility of cure in the future. Keep in mind, the research has not extended to humans yet; but I, for one, am hopeful. Profound Quote

Every so often, I come across something simple yet profound. Today, it is a quote saying the following:

“The richest man is not the one who has more, but the one that needs less.”

I think many of us intrinsically know this, but a little reminder every so often can be helpful.
